Sock hops began growing in popularity during the 1950's, getting their name from dancers shedding their shoes so they could slide across the floor during their swing dances easier. Poodle skirts and greased hair with leather jackets filled the floor to show off their finest Mashed Potato and Twist-ing. Join us February 25th, work on your swing dances, and enter our best dance contest!
