Roger tv broadcasts live coverage of Stratford City Council meetings, typically on the second and fourth Monday of the month. The City of Stratford's Environmental Services is celebrating World Water Day on March 22, 2018. The City’s water facilities will be open to the public, and staff will be present to answer questions at the following locations (see attached map): 1. Tour of Romeo Street Pumping Station (Water Supply) 39 Romeo Street South - 9 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. 2. Tour of Water Pollution Control Plant (Wastewater Treatment) 701 West Gore Street - 9 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. 3. Open House at Vivian Street Pumping Station (Wastewater Collection) 362 Romeo Street North - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. 4. INCOME TAX CLINICS The City of Stratford's Social Services Department is co-ordinating community income tax clinics on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. To participate, you must have an annual income of less than $18,000 (individuals) OR less than $28,000 (couples). Please ensure you are within these limits, and note that only current year tax returns can be completed. Pre-registration is required. Appointments are 20 minutes long. Couples will require two appointments. To book an appointment time and confirm location, please contact Hazel Snedden, City of Stratford Social Services Department at 519-271-3773, ext. 256, between 8:30 am & 3:30 pm., Monday through Friday. Participants are required to bring the following documents to the clinic (if applicable): T4’s, T5’s, Medical Receipts, Donation Receipts, Rent Receipts and/or Property Tax Receipts, Disability Form (T2201), Date of Entry to Canada, etc. There is no fee for the clinic, with services provided free of charge by BDO Dunwoody Canada LLP; Famme & Co. Professional Corporation; and Mitchell & Pearce.

Stratford's Town and Gown Advisory Committee serves as a link between the City of Stratford, the University of Waterloo and the community, and reports to City Council through the Infrastructure, Transportation and Safety Sub-committee. Its mandate is: * to provide a multi-disciplinary forum for open discussion; * to facilitate communication among constituent groups; * to assist in developing solutions to problems of common interest; and * to promote and support activities to ensure a safe and healthy community. Members of the committee are Annaka Willemsen, Casey Riehl (staff), Martin Ritsma, Danielle Ingram, Brandi Gillett, Nancy Orr, Stephanie Potter (staff), Bonnie Henderson and Jeff Leunissen (staff). At its February meeting, the committee re-elected Martin Ritsma as chair and Brandi Gillett as vice-chair.
