Did you know that this Friday is celebrated across the continent as "Take Your Dog to Work Day?" Will you be taking your dog to work this Friday? We are! Meet our dogs this Friday at Glow - or - we want to meet your four-legged-bff! Meet us at Queen's Park on Eveline in Selkirk this Friday for a special 1 hour yoga class for you and your dog! Cost is free, but donations to @norwayhouseanimalrescue are encouraged. To participate, make sure your pup is leashed and bring your own mat or towel. #takeyourdogtoworkday #takeyourdogtoyoga

If your dog is trapped in a wildfire and you have been evacuated, what do you do? This senior dog was reunited with her owner, thanks to the teamwork of a network of volunteers organized by Norway House Animal Rescue. You can see in that pup's face how happy she is to see her owners! This organization works with volunteers from all over Manitoba, including Northern communities, to help rescue dogs in Northern Communities through food, vet care, fostering opportunities, rescue, and education. We will be supporting this amazing local organization in our upcoming event, Take Your Dog to Yoga! collecting donations and much needed items, such as leashes, collars, puppy food and 4 litre jugs of water at Queen's Park on Eveline Street next Friday at noon.

Restorative yoga is a quiet calm and comforting form of yoga that uses props - like blankets and big cushions and even the walls - to hold the body in comfortable positions for several minutes.
