Description

We're the home of Niagara's independent workforce. We operate a coworking space in St. Catharines and have Niagara's largest calendar of freelancer events. We’re a group of freelancers, social entrepreneurs, small nonprofits and other independents who think working together makes us better. We run a dedicated space in downtown St. Catharines where we celebrate successes, share challenges, and rely on each other for support.

Our goal is to build a network of dedicated spaces across Niagara where our members can do this permanently.

Niagara Social Enterprise Forum 2016

Only a couple of days left to get your ticket to the Niagara Social Enterprise Forum! You may have heard the phrase 'social enterprise' before and wondered what it meant and how you can contribute. If you support non-profits, co-operatives (Cowork Niagara is one!) and for-profit businesses who fulfill a social need, you're already giving vital support. If you're a social entrepreneur, you're driving the success of our growing community by finding creative and sustainable solutions to the world's problems. You strive to build a business that earns you an income *and* makes a lasting social impact. Now we need your voice at the table. To launch the Year of Social Enterprise in Niagara, we're partnering with a number of community groups (inc. the Niagara Community Foundation and many more) to bring together current and aspiring social entrepreneurs, and the organizations who support them, to co-create what a social entrepreneurial ecosystem looks like here. The Niagara Social Enterprise Forum is happening January 30. Get your ticket today.
