The weather is (supposed to be) getting warmer, which means more outdoor activities! For the month of April, we are giving out these nifty reflector slap-its in an effort to improve road safety. Stop by to pick up some!
Mattie McCullough students were busy again this year, raising money for their All-Access Barrier Free Playground! A Know-A-Thon was held in February to raise money for the next phase of the playground. Hucal & Edwards wanted to help the students out by offering a cupcake party to the top two fundraising classes. Mrs. Edwards spent Tuesday morning swirling frosting and molding fondant bunnies with Mr. Cunningham's grade 5s and Mrs. McQueen's 1s. Here’s Dr. Hucal helping out with the annual Notre Dame grad service project 21 hour scavenger hunt fundraiser. Sydney Hucal was happy to have her dad along for the 11-2am shift! The race ended today at 1:00pm, but the long trek was well worth it! Funds raised during the race support the Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre. Well done everyone👍
It was an honour to be part of the Catalina Swim Club Gala on Saturday evening. The winner of our lockbox challenge was Louie Quirino! He is a Emergency Nurse at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. It was a wonderful evening of dinner, games and prizes...what a fun way to raise money for one of our local clubs!
