The Department of National Defence is coming to remove the Bailey bridge at Barrett Street as a training exercise to prepare for a new bridge later this year! This special exercise is called Operation Bye-Bye Bailey. A free community event has been planned to correspond with this exciting construction project on May 13 from 10am to 3pm. Attend the Community Consultation Sessions at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, in Council Chambers on Wednesday, April 26, from 2-4pm OR from 6-8pm that same day. This is an opportunity for you to review the proposed options being considered for the Municipality's transit service and to submit any comments or concerns. If you are using transit to attend the sessions, mention it to the bus driver and your ride will be FREE. Transit operating hours will be extended until 9pm on April 26 to ensure that those attending the evening session can use transit to get home.
