Programme d’initiation à la recherche au premier cycle (PIRPC)
The Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) provides undergraduate students with unique and exciting opportunities to explore cutting-edge research at the University of Ottawa while they define their professional goals.
By participating in UROP, a student receives a $1,000 award and devotes, during one academic year, at least 50 hours to the research project conducted by the faculty sponsor he or she has chosen. Each faculty sponsor receives $500 in research funds to support his or her involvement in the program.

Le Programme d’initiation à la recherche au premier cycle (PIRPC) offre aux étudiantes et étudiants de premier cycle des occasions uniques et stimulantes de se familiariser avec la recherche d’avant-garde qui se fait à l’Université d’Ottawa tout en réfléchissant à leurs orientations et à leurs objectifs professionnels.
En participant au Programme d’initiation à la recherche au premier cycle, les étudiants reçoivent une bourse de 1000 $ et consacrent au moins 50 heures pendant l'année scolaire à un projet de recherche mené par un professeur-superviseur qu’ils auront choisi. Les professeurs-superviseurs qui participent au PIRPC reçoivent 500 $ en fonds de recherche.
