Boys Rugby won their first game, Friday, vs Henry Wisewood (17-0) but ended up losing 22-26 vs Harry Ainlay in the semi-final. They played for Bronze Saturday, besting Medicine Hat 45-24 for the Bronze! FCHS is soo proud of our boys’ rugby team, and their Bronze Medal Victory!
Girls Rugby advanced to the Gold medal game (Saturday) after besting Sir Winston Churchill, LA, Friday (24-12). Sadly, the girls lost their final game to Sturgeon (22-15), after a couple of bad breaks late in the game that Sturgeon capitalized on. Our girls fought hard all day long and played with such pride, despite a couple of injuries. FCHS is soo proud of our girls' rugby team, and their Silver Medal Victory!
Girls Rugby had a extremely tight game beating Lloydminster 29-26.... We had two tries called back on us but the girls persevered and won by a last minute try! Girls play @2:50 versus #3 ranked Winston Churchill from Lethbridge. Go Falcons!
Boys soccer - Unfortunately we lost to Canmore (a team we beat twice in League) and we topped it off with a red card, so it was a tough one. We ended up with the BRONZE medal after a big win yesterday afternoon! :)
