Just a reminder to everyone: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be holding his final Town Hall on the Nanaimo campus of VIU tomorrow (February 2) at 11 am. Doors open at 9 am and it is open to anyone who wants to attend on a first come, first served basis. We wanted to share some information about parking for the event tomorrow: • In order to keep traffic focused in mostly one area, we are holding Parking Lot A at Fifth Street and Wakesiah Ave as dedicated event parking. Lot Q will also be used. • We have also arranged to have extra parking at Serauxmen Stadium’s gravel lot, which was generously provided by the City of Nanaimo. • We have arranged to have people on-site directing traffic to the different parking areas. We are looking forward to welcoming the Prime Minister and community members to our campus tomorrow! More info: http://bit.ly/2nqtkSX
