It's that time of the year again. Christmas is coming and The Association is holding their annual elimination dance. Tickets are out, so please talk to your local firefighter and get your ticket before it's too late. $10 per ticket. Dance will be held on December 10th, 8pm at the Millbrook legion. If you don't manage to get a ticket, you are still welcome to come out and enjoy a night of good music and good friends.

Hello everyone, Several of the businesses in Millbrook are trying a few Thursday evening openings to see if we can better serve our community by having evening hours. We will be open until 8:00 on the following Thursdays: October 13 and 27; November 10 and 24; and December 1, 8 and 22. There will be special sales and promotions!!! And, of course, lots of fun! Please pass the word along....

If any one is interested is seeing the trailer that the Millbrook Cavan Firefighters Association donated to the Cavan Monaghan Fire Dept. Please join us at the township office on Sunday October 2nd at 11am. We will unveil it there for all to see. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our fundraising goal.

Saturday August 27th. Raising the roof for Fort Mcmurray!!! Joint venture between The Millbrook Legion, Millbrook Lions club, and The Millbrook Cavan Firefighters Association to raise money for Fort Mac and their effort to rebuild after their tragic wild fires. Come out and join in all the fun. A full day of events including breakfast, ducky races, dinner, and a dance. Let's show our support for those in hard times.

We have reached our goal!!! Thanks to all the hard work and generous donations we were able to purchase this trailer for the Cavan Monaghan Fire Department. Great job everyone! Lettering and accessories will be added to make this trailer a very useful tool for the firefighters. I'm so proud of the Millbrook Cavan Firefighters Association. Great great work!!

We have been busy fundraising for the past couple of months, one more event this weekend and we'll start to slow down... Baseball tournament at maple leaf park tomorrow. Thank you all for your hard work, and your generosity.

If you see any firefighters out there this weekend, please help them out as we are trying our best to raise some money so we can buy a trailer for the fire department. Every little bit counts... And this is your final few days to get your raffle tickets for the oak barrel table. Draw is on Sunday.

June 4th the millbrook Legion is holding a poker run to raise money for the Wounded Worriors Foundation. This foundation brings help to our injured soldiers, and their families. Please dust off that motorcycle and come down to the legion at 8:30am that morning to register.

This coming Saturday the lions club is hosting the annual fishing derby. We will be out to support and have our Old fire hall / Museum open to the public. Come by and have a look at what used to keep Millbrook and now Cavan Monaghan safe.
