People have asked over the years what we do with our fruit after it's been fermented. Originally we thought we would have a big compost pile and return the material to the vineyards. Nope... the deer had another idea! Lol! This is a batch of Saskatoons we pressed today. Word will get out tonight and by tomorrow there will hardly be anything left! It's a nice treat for our "local ungulates" during the winter. Cheers!

Happy August Long Weekend!!! Traditionally this was our busiest weekend of the year with around 500 people a day going through the Winery. It was a crazy, stressful, profitable time! (I woke up this morning without that familiar feeling of dread...gotta admit, it was pretty nice! LOL!) Let me just take this opportunity to thank our many amazing customers that used to visit us on this weekend over the years. Thank you for your patience for slower service, waiting for a table and many thanks for loving our wines! And just because we have closed and you can't come visit us don't forget that there is a TON of amazing experiences to be had in our beautiful Cypress Hills! The rhubarb is pressed, fermented and racked and a batch of saskatoons hit the fermenter this morning... The 2017 wine making season is well underway!

Customers who have been to Wineries in BC and Ontario are always surprised that we don't charge for our tastings. Instead we do our tastings by donation and the money is split between the Medicine Hat and Swift Current SPCA's. David (the cat) and Star (the dog) are pleased to report that we raised a whopping $7502.80 this year!!! Thank you everyone!!!

Ten years and a bit worse for the wear... We ended our final season with a bang! (Actually the pop of a champagne cork!) To say that we are honoured by our customer's support is a terrible understatement.... We are sooo blessed to have had the staff we did and the success we have.
