Description
Taking Strides offers a unique opportunity to interact with miniature horses through equine assisted learning. Taking Strides specializes in unmounted programs for people of all ages using equine assisted learning (EAL). EAL facilitates personal growth and development through interactions with horses. It involves partnering people with horses to promote healthy life skills to develop positive behavioural changes. It has been used successfully with schools, at-risk youth, children and adults with a variety of mental health and human development needs, including anxiety disorders, depression, anger management, attention deficit disorders, and behavioural challenges. Our program includes educational programs, horsemanship programs and summer camp.
