Traditional Okinawan Shorin-ryu Karate and Kobudo in Guelph, Ontario. Proud member of M. Nakazato's Shorinkan Association from Naha, Okinawa, Japan. Our New Location Opening Jan 5th, 2016: Ferraro Karate is a family oriented dojo recently re-located in the Downtown Core of "The Royal City," Guelph, Ontario. An offically recognized dojo in Hanshi M. Nakazato's Shorin-ryu Shorinkan Association from Naha, Okinawa, Japan, Sensei Stephen Ferraro (B.A., B.Ed.), an Ontario Certified Teacher, is committed to promoting quality traditional Okinawan Karate (Empty Hand) and Kobudo (Weapons) to students of any age. Sensei Stephen Ferraro has been training for over 20 years and has been teaching karate as an instructor since the age of 14.
The dojo offers Karate and Kobudo classes for:
Toddlers/Pre-school-5:00pm-5:30pm (ages 3-5)
Children-5:30pm-6:30pm (ages 6-11)
Young Adults and Teens- 6:30pm-7:30pm (ages 12-16)
Adults- 7:30pm-9:00pm (ages 17 and up).
MMA Combat Fitness:
Saturday Mornings-9:00am-10:30am (ages 17 and up)
Combat Fitness mixes circuit training, Crossfit and cardiovascular training with tactical training in Boxing, Kickboxing, Karate and Grappling, adding yet another element to your Martial Lifestyle. Learn to kick, punch, elbow and knee like the pros while building muscle, losing weight and empowering yourself!
