Our openings are a fantastic way to come out and connect with artists and locals with similar cultural interests. Join us tonight at 7pm for the Opening Reception of our two April gallery exhibitions. In the Centre Gallery we are showing "30 Minutes West" featuring the works of J. Loberg, J. Kuechle, T. Brekkaas, L. Quesnel and S. Corvalan. Showing In the Wall Gallery, "Spring Showers", a CFCA Healing Arts Exhibition. The exhibtions will be on display from April 7 - 28. All ages are welcome and it is free to attend. There are complimentary refreshments and a cash bar. Bring your friends and enjoy an evening of art at the Centre for Creative Arts!

Aboriginal Head Start is a great local program looking for donations for an upcoming fundraiser. If you are interested in donating art or other items for their silent auction please read this message from organizers: The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre Aboriginal Head Start Program, is a non-profit culturally based program for 3-5 year olds that thrives to instill a sense of pride and desire to learn in our children before reaching the mainstream school system. This program has served over 1400 Children and Families in our community for over 20 years. Our program enables us to foster a holistic approach to learning and living based on the values of our peoples. We would appreciate any intention to donate to our event be communicated to us on or before Friday, March 17, 2017 and that items be arranged for drop off or pick up no later than Wednesday April 12, 2017. Please include a business card or contact information with your donation, so that we can accurately recognize your generosity. Your company will receive acknowledgment during our silent auction as well as in our monthly newsletter and other agency communications.
