Every year minor hockey players staying at Steele Hotels are entered for a chance to win $500 towards their education or minor hockey registration for the following year. In addition, the winning player’s minor hockey association receives a cheque for $2,000. This year’s winners are Lilly Tulk who plays in the Grand Falls-Windsor female hockey league and Paul Norman who plays with the St. John’s Triple “A” midgets.
