Effective April 6, 2017- Attention all Full Throttle Motor Speedway @ Varney competitors in "ALL" 2017 FTMS classes, you must have a 2017 Season Electronic Scoring Tag (Cost is $40 each including HST) in order to compete at the speedway and must be purchased in advance prior to any On track activities. We have ordered 100 Season Electronic Scoring Tags (365 days) and 100 Temporary Scoring Tags ($8 each and good for 5 days) for inventory. For more info go to www.hardcardsystems.com Mandatory FTMS Electronic Scoring Tag available at the speedway as of May. In 2017 the speedway will also be 100% mandating the 1-way radio receiver (a Raceceiver or 1-way scanner) in all FTMS classes. Please make sure you have both of the correct scoring equipment before the season starts In May. Scanners are possibly available at The Source and Walmart that would pick up the Scoring Tower Frequency at a good price.

News from Tech Lane Attention: Mini Stock Drivers We have had a few inquires about the Azenis tires. The Falken Azenis RT615K are allowed, as have been in the past. The new RT615K PLUS ARE NOT ALLOWED. The only new tire permitted this season will be the Hoosier 850, as previously discussed. The rules on the website have been updated to reflect this.

Attention all FTMS @ Varney competitors, next Tuesday (March 21st) We will be getting the first shipment of 2017 Hoosier Tires for Jr. Late Model/ Mini Truck (model MC 780) $120 each, Mini Stock (model 850) $140 each, Street Stock (model 800)$160 each and Late Models (model 1030 and 1057) $160 each. This includes all taxes and government stewardship in the pricing. 2017 Will not have a tire management rule in place until the process is proven and is totally problem free for both FTMS @ Varney race teams and tech staff. Look who won races at my race track (Formerly Varney Speedway) the first year it was operated in 1970. My Dad and also my racing hero, #70 Pete Bennett in the Winner's Circle of probably the first Invitational 50 lap race. That lil' blue and white #70 Coupe and my Father won the majority of the races or was a threat at almost every event of the 1970 season at virtually every track, asphalt or dirt that the #70 went too. Very cool that I bought the Varney Speedway (now Full Throttle Motor Speedway @ Varney) that this races happened at and we are proud to helping make our competitors memories happen as we go to the future

For the few Full Throttle Motor Speedway @ Varney competitors that "forgot" or "did not realize" the 2017 registration was a few months ago at the Rules Meeting in November and again at the Awards Banquet in January or the online registration on our website, now or ASAP would be a good time to make arrangements with Cheryl at the track office phone 519-369-6969. We are approaching 100 cars registered already, the time has expired with holding car #'s for 2017 and there was plenty of notices given.

Effective Feb 25th, 2017- The "Great Canadian Truck Show @ Varney" has been confirmed and will be coming to Full Throttle Motor Speedway @ Varney on July 21st-22nd-23rd, 2017. The Truck Show which had been one of North America's Largest Outdoor Truck Shows now has doubled in size and has 100+ acres to become even bigger. All weekend events will be determined due to finalizing contracts but the Saturday Night 22nd will feature all 9 FTMS Classes of racing at the famed 1/4 Mile, 31 degree banked Paved Oval and racing will be included in the $13 daily general admission price. More information to follow.

With the "pending" July 21st, 22nd and 23rd event addition of The Great Canadian Truck Show @ Varney possibly coming to the 98 acre facility that Full Throttle Motor Speedway @ Varney sits on. We have to announce that our current racing schedule and pricing will not be changed or affected by any additional events if they may be added. However our $13 General Admission ($2 for 10 yrs old and under, $25 pit area) policy will include "all added daily shows or events" in the same admission price. Our Team is working diligently to provide the regions best family entertainment value in all of our endeavors and will release more information as it gets finalized

New at Full Throttle Motor Speedway @ Varney for the 2017 racing season - The Heated/ Air Conditioned VIP Suite located in the turn 4 area of the speedway which will be fully licensed and full catering is available plus have the capability of 60+ people that will be rentable for any VIP functions . Attention all Full Throttle Motor Speedway @ Varney competitors- As the 2017 approaches we have made a change to the practice night during the week from Wednesday previously to now being Thursday starting at 2 pm and going until dusk. This minor change will commence the Thursday following the Saturday May 6th Practice day.
