Great news everyone! It is our pleasure to advise you that the clubhouse at Chester Golf Club will be open for business on Saturday, April 29th at 9 AM. Barb and her wonderful staff look forward to serving you this season, and we can’t wait for everyone to see the great improvements made to the dining room this year!

And now, what we're sure you've all been waiting for... We are pleased to announce that Chester Golf Club will be open for the 2017 season starting on Wednesday, April 26th at 9 AM! You can begin booking your tee times now by either calling the Pro Shop at (902) 275-4543 or online at www.chestergolfclub.ca. As a reminder, members can book up to seven (7) days in advance, and non-members can book up to six (6) days in advance. We are very excited to serve you during the upcoming season and are looking forward to another great year on the links! See you soon!

Deep Roots, The Life of a Golf Course Superintendent

You know that amazing experience when you step onto the tee box at your favourite course and hit that first shot? Pretty fantastic, wouldn't you say? Have you stopped to think about all the work that goes into getting a golf course ready for the players who enjoy it everyday? And how to preserve it responsibly? Here is a great video from the ASGA (Atlantic Golf Course Superintendents Association) that really shows the hard work that goes into creating that experience that we all enjoy. With the new season just around the corner (we hope!), there are some changes coming to the rules of golf. Have a look at what's coming up - it seems as though they're moving things in the direction of how most of us play the game now, which is great news!
