To all of my lovely ladies that get their nails done... just remember to wear your gloves in this cold weather! Artificial product does not like the cold. It will dehydrate your nails and make the product brittle which in turn makes it a lot easier to Chip and Break. Winter is brutal on your nails ladies!!!!!

I want you girls to know that the artificial products...ie. acrylic, fiberglass and gel put on your nails doesn't do a thing to your nail plate. It won't harm it, thin it or damage it in any way. Your nail plate is a dead cell. It doesn't BREATH!!!!! like you were led to believe. DEAD DEAD DEAD! However, the electric woodworking tools known as Dremels that are being used to rough up the nail plate so that new product can be applied are ruining the nail plate. Please try to find a hand filer such as myself. It may take a bit longer for the service, but your nails will be healthy.

Today we're going to talk about the faces of your sons, boyfriends and husbands. A lot of men don't like to shave everyday because they say they get razor burn or there skin gets irritated. I have helped many of my boyfriends over the years with this problem. That 2 day growth hurts my face when you kiss me!!!! Men have to take care of there skin too. So explain to them 3 steps. 1. Always shower first before shaving. The heat from the water and steam from the shower opens the pores. 2. Apply an Exfoliant to the face and neck in the shower. Try to buy one that has a beaded or gritty feeling to it. Be careful when purchasing and read labels. Stay away from ones that say "grape seed powder" or "walnut shell powder" Shells and seeds can be too rough for the face but o.k. for the rest of the body. Body Shop and Bath and Body have some good ones. 3. Use a loofah (puff) to rub it into the face in the shower. When he comes out of the shower and then shaves, the hair will slide right out and no more irritation on the neck or face EVER!!!

Do you ever wonder why you have breakouts on your face or you have been a person that just can't seem to get rid of those nasty pimples? First of all girls...YOU MUST ALWAYS TAKE YOUR MAKEUP OFF AT NIGHT. Your skin does it's rejuvenating while you're sleeping. If it's caked with dirt and oil from the day, your results won't be very good. Also, very important to use a fresh facecloth when you cleanse your face morning and evening. The bacteria from the previous face cleanse will be on that used cloth and you will just deposit all that bacteria back on your face...hence breakouts. Go to the dollar store and stock up on facecloths. Use a face cloth to cleanse. Don't just throw water on your face and expect it to come clean with the cleanser. Cleanser needs to be wiped off. Lastly, EXFOLIATE. Exfoliating 2-3 times per week helps remove dead skin cells which in turn allows your oil to secrete properly. If you have no oil being trapped under the skin, No Pimples!

Hang in there girls with your lash extensions during this heat. You will find that when you get into your vehicle that is now 140 degrees until the air conditioner cools it down, that some of your lashes seem to be going straight and losing there nice curl. The adhesive we use Expands and Contracts with the temperature and will sometimes cause this problem. It's been a crazy hot summer. The cooler weather is coming!
