"Where practice makes progress!"

Welcome! We are so pleased that you have found us!

We offer visual art classes for children and teens ages 5-18 years. We are located in the Beaux-Arts Brampton Gallery in downtown Brampton. Our program director and owner is Daniela Easter, a freelance artist and art educator. We have been offering fine art classes and camps since 2002.

Please take a minute to go through our page and see what we can offer your family. If you would like to receive our monthly newsletter, please email us here and we will gladly put you on our list. We would love to hear from you so do not hesitate to contact us.

Progressive Art offers 8 different courses for children ages 8-12 and 8 different courses for ages 13-18. We also offer an Intro to Art course for ages 5-7. These courses explore the fine arts and range from drawing to painting. No previous art experience is necessary.

We provide instruction in both theory and technique. The instructor is Daniela Easter, a multi-media, award winning artist and published illustrator.

Each fall we offer Portfolio Prep classes for grade 8 students applying for Regional Arts Programs.

Family sessions are available by appointment in 1.5 hr sessions. Activities include water marbling, Gelli printing, block printing, spray stenciling and more!

Looking for a girls night out? We offer art journal, card making and Gelli printing classes for up to 4 people at a time.

Is your school interested in coming to our gallery for an art activity? We would be happy to have you! Can't make it to our school? Progressive Art can come to you! Contact us about what we can offer your students!

Summer Art Camp - We offer the BEST and we mean the BEST art camp in town! Top quality tools and materials, trained supervision, awesome art activities and all designed by a professional artist for her little artists. One week each summer we convert our gallery workshop into a massive art studio with rotating art stations. You can't miss it!

Volunteering and Mentoring - Progressive Art welcomes student volunteers both high school, college and university level.  We believe in training, not just assigning work. If you love art and want to get work experience in the arts, contact us for volunteer opportunities.

Instructional Videos - Not sure if you want to join a class? Why not check out our instructional art videos on YouTube? Follow along with the instructor in how-to videos or see some in class activities. Check back often as we upload more!

Special Events - Every once in a while, Progressive Art will be invited to participate in a special art event and we want you to be included too!  Every year we participate in Ontario Culture Days at the end of September, the Young At Art Juried Show, Farmer's Market Opening Day and a spring and summer Studio Open House. Stay connected with our newsletter or social media to find out about these events.

Hey Everyone! I was wondering if anyone has a pasta machine that they are not using. I would like to have one for the workshop at BAB to use for polymer clay. Not a fancy one, just the old fashioned type that allows for the pasta to be rolled out thin. Let me know if you find one in your basement that you are willing to part with. Thanks so much!
