The species diversity present in the bird world impresses with its bright colours, rich birdsong and majestic courtship displays. We wanted to create a monument to this extensive biotope of waterfowl, ground-dwelling birds and birds of prey with our latest masterpiece. The three-barrel sidelock shotgun is characterised by its refined elegance and elaborate engraving featuring the most beautiful birds from all over the world, hence the name of this hunting gun, ‘WORLD OF BIRDS’. The delicate bird scenes were brought to life by master engraver Peter Schaschl. The entire engraving was created under 20x magnification and the entire inlaid work consists of 24k pure gold. The combination of various engraving techniques makes it possible to produce a pronounced depth effect in the engraving. This shotgun is one of the most unique and elegant weapons to be created by our master smithery.
