To make the most of your Poppy & Co. Soy Candle, we recommend trimming the wick every 3 hours of burn time. Before trimming, ensure that you extinguish the flame and let the candle cool down to room temperature. This will help to encourage a more even burn, steady flame, and limit mushrooming and sooting.

Did you know that the first burn of a new candle is the most important? When lighting your candle for the first time, always allow the wax to burn so that the entire surface of the candle is melted. This will assist in preventing tunnelling and will help promote an even burn for the duration of the candle's life!
