West Gallery Thebarton is an exciting new contemporary gallery and studio in Adelaide. The gallery engages with artists across a broad range of arts practices and has a special focus on printmaking and works on paper.
The inaugural exhibition, Afterlife, runs from 5 August to 10 September.

We’re excited to be part of ART AFTER DARK West End and will be open from 6-8pm this Thursday 23 February. Art After Dark is bringing Adelaide's West End precinct to life with arts and cultural events on selected Thursday evenings throughout the Fringe Festival. Our doors are open until late, with exhibitions, film, music, talks, food, beer and wine, workshops and more. We look forward to seeing you here in the West End!

Our first exhibition for 2017 opens at 6pm on Thursday night and is proudly part of the Adelaide Fringe. Mirrorstate features two Victorian artists, Joel Gailer and Phillip Doggett-Williams, and Kangaroo Island's Deborah Sleeman. These three artists reflect their views of the world through sculpture and prints. We'd love to see you at the opening or during the exhibition. Philip Gerner’s Christmas cards are everything you would hope for from a man who is a brilliant artist, tinkerer, builder and problem-solver. Philip solves the current worldwide shortage of whimsy with these cards. West Gallery Thebarton closes 5pm Thursday.

Jenny Clapson's etchings are inspired by the rhythm of life around her home on Kangaroo Island. "...nectar seeking moths hunt for pale scented night opening flowers, thus unconsciously pollinating them. Around our home we see many of these elusive creatures whose domain is the evening with its stars." We Are All Connected - 16 November - 22 December

Thank you to all who came to the opening of We Are All Connected - an exhibition celebrating the longstanding friendships within a group of well known South Australian artists. It was a lovely evening, brimming with positivity and, dare I say it, festive cheer. Speaking of which, the exhibition runs until 22 December. I know what I want for Christmas!
