The sessions are designed with your goals in mind. Having previously weighed in at over 160kgs and currently lost 40+kgs, I have a wealth of experience in relation to the issues surrounding obese people and their weight loss issues.   I also understand what can happen when you set yourself a goal/challenge and accomplish it. 2013 – Completed 6 Ride to Conquer Cancer Rides in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Auckland, Adelaide (1300kms in 12 days)
2012 – Melbourne Ride to Conquer Cancer – 200kms in 2 days
2005/06 Oxfam Trailwalker 100kms in 24 hours
2006 – Completed Kokoda Trail in 6 days

Boxing sessions are not just about throwing jabs, crosses, uppercuts and hooks. In my boxing sessions on Monday nights we mix up the sessions to incorporate the entire body including legs, arms and core. Check out the video for one lovely triceps exercise which can be adapted to incorporate core as well. Boxing is 7:30pm every Monday night numbers permitting so if you are interested then please let me know.

This is exactly what everyone that wants to lose weight needs to do. Very simple message from the guru herself. As she says, it isn’t very sexy but it is the best way to lose weight (remembering that 80% of the battle is nutrition) and then add in some form of activity.

What an awesome session last night with the mum’s & sons training session. It is great watching the mums working out with their boys, both learning things about themselves and pushing the boundaries a little as well. Remember, your kids are watching you all the time and being involved together in something like this is great for them as well as you.

This clip brings me so much joy. Graham is a Vision Crusaders team member like myself. 13 months ago whilst out riding he was hit from behind by a driver on their mobile phone. Destined never to be able to ride again, he wanted to get back on a bike. This clip here simply shows you that if you want something bad enough then set a goal and work towards it. I love the smile on his face. Pure joy and happiness and grateful to the allied health professionals helping him do something he loves. If I have any takeaway from this it is to find something you love and do it as often as you can. You just never know when you might be able to do it again.
