Traditional Japanese Karate-Do We are located in the far South West of Victoria around 360 km or four hours drive from Melbourne.  Karate is a wonderful way to achieve more than you ever thought you could….both physically and mentally … for all ages,  having our members progress at there own pace.

The 13th WSKF World Championships & Seminar will be held in Japan from August 14th - 19th 2017. Thanks to the great efforts in fundraising from our members and generous donations and grants from Portland Aluminium, 7 of our WSKF Victoria members will be travelling to Japan to attend. The final Gradings for the Portland and Warrnambool Dojos for 2016 will be held on the dates as follows. These will also be the final training sessions for the year in each dojo before we break up for the holidays. Portland Dojo Monday 5th December 2016 at 6:00 pm sharp. Warrnambool Dojo Tuesday 6th December 2016 at 6.00 pm sharp. If you are invited by Sensei Stephen to attempt your grading, please bring your Do Gi, WSKF Gold Book, WSKF White Book and Grading Fee if you have not already paid beforehand. Looking forward to seeing enthusiastic karateka at the gradings.

The school holidays are over so now it's time to get back into the swing of things. Karate Training Resumes as follows: Portland Dojo:- Monday 3rd October 2016. Juniors/Seniors (Mondays) 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Juniors (Wednesdays) 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm Seniors (Wednesdays) 7:10 pm to 8:30 pm Warrnambool Dojo:- Tuesday 4th October 2016. Juniors 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Seniors 7:10 pm to 8:30 pm We hope to see everyone back refreshed and raring to go.

Our friend Koji Yamamoto Sensei trained at the Portland and Balmoral Dojo last week. He enjoyed training and catching up with karate friends, we hope to visit Japan and catch up with Koji Yamamoto Sensei in 2017.
