Tonight we had some really challenging drying tasks. We are drying the dirt beneath the house in addition to the house above. The D2 is pushing heat under the floor along with another heat system. Some dehumidifiers are also pulling some moisture out of a set of built in robes. This would be considered Class 4 drying, in that it is quite a difficult job to dry.

Heat drying a water damaged home that was fully flooded. Taking the property safely right upto 47 degrees will ensure that any bound moisture in the wall frames will be released, enabling very fast drying. #notjustacarpetcleaner #thisisrestoration.

After a flood people think that if their carpet feels dry everything is ok. WRONG! This is a wall cavity in Port Augusta that wasn't dried. Now there is a mould issue that requires remediation, new carpet, gyprock cut away, re plastered, new skirting, painting. It's much easier to call us to assess and dry if necessary. We are the only Certified water damage and applied microbial remediation technicians in Port Augusta. We hold the largest inventory of specialised structural drying equipment north of Gepps Cross. When a pipe bursts or you get flooded please call us and we will always assist where possible.

After the recent weather event in the Flinders region, Supreme Clean Carpets + Restoration have received over 30 flood restoration jobs that require action. Whilst we hold a large amount of flood drying equipment we do not have enough to cater for this high number of affected properties all at once. We do have new equipment on it's way from Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney, however some of this won't arrive until Tuesday due to the public holiday. Whilst we appreciate that it is unpleasant having moisture affected structure and contents in your home, there is a very low chance of further damage being caused to your property as a result of waiting until Tuesday onwards.
