I had a fantastic conversation today with a regular to The Functional Body. This client is a FIFO worker and on his R&R, he will come in for 2-3x 90min sessions, without fail in 9 days. He has been a client for some 4 months or so now, and not only is he really good value, but he highly values massage for all of the benefits that it gives him. This client is a kickboxer. He trains hard and heavy FOR FUN! He also works long days on a FIFO roster and when he is not working, it's critical that he puts a little nourishment back into his body. I'm thrilled with his feedback and he's stoked with the performance of his body since he's been coming in. But you don't need to lead a lifestyle of 12 hour shifts, heavy strength training and chronic stress to experience the benefits of massage and soft tissue therapy. It can assist with the following: - eliminate or reduce adhesions, scar tissue and abnormal cross-linkages, - eliminate or reduce tissue reaction as a result of pain, - stretch and improve the flexibility of muscle and fascia, - improve muscle balance and sensory activity, - improve circulation and lymphatic drainage, - remove waste products and chemical irritants, - promote relaxation, ease stress and anxiety, - speed recovery from exercise, and - enhance freedom of movement. Massage offers a manual approach to both general health and wellbeing, as well as injury recovery by assisting rehabilitation and improving performance.

I've mentioned it a few times now but it's finally here.. The Functional Body VIP Program How does it work? When you come in for 5 sessions at full price, your 6th one is 1/2 price! When you come in for the next 5 sessions, the 12th one is FREE! Yes, you read correctly ..FREE!! So it's basically the same as a coffee or juice loyalty card (just remove the card). As there will be no wallet cards for the program, consider yourself inducted upon next booking! Appointments will be tracked by the booking system and I will remind you of when your rewards are coming up! ☺ Now, the free appointment is capped at 60mins but feel free to treat yourself and upgrade your 6th 90mins! Also, you are still eligible for promotions offered in between, however these will not contribute towards the VIP Program. If you have any questions about the program feel free to ask them below. Well done to The Functional Body client Mark Raleigh who headed down to compete in the Busselton Half Marathon Fun Run this morning. It sounds like the weather conditions were less than ideal. Next time we'll have a hat printed up and keep that rain off your face. Awesome effort! 👍🏼

Introducing the Early Bird Rates! Don't think I haven't noticed the sleepy heads amongst you! ☺ The Early Bird appointments are 60min appointments at a discounted rate as this is an "off peak" time of day! You may have noticed the slight shift in availability, these appointments have been opened up to accomodate extra clients each week at a price that may better appease your budget. As there are only 4 discounted Early Bird sessions weekly please respect both myself and other clients and provide a minimum of 24hours notice for cancellations. ***NB: cancellation fees within 12hours of your appointment will incur a fee at 50% of the hourly rate (i.e. $32.50-35 respectfully) due to the difficulty in filling the booking at short notice***
