Aerial
6am – 11am
Start your day with a marvel at the skies as we launch Sydney’s biggest hot air balloon sky display, with delicious food, kid’s rides and roving family entertainment.
The Big BBQ
11am – 7.30pm
This is biggest BBQ Parramatta has ever seen! Enjoy an array of food stalls with smoked, grilled and basted delights from Australian and international barbecue pitmasters. Cheer on the chefs at the BBQ cook-off, and check out the brand new smokers and BBQ’s on display. Presented in partnership with the Australasian BBQ Alliance.
CARnivale
11.30am – 5.30pm
The iconic CARnivale expo comes to Parramatta for the first time, with more than 400 vintage cars on display to delight car lovers, motoring enthusiasts and families alike. Honk Honk!
Hottest 100 Party
12pm – 8pm
As part of the 2016 Australia Day celebrations in Parramatta Park, we’re throwing a Hottest 100 party in honour of triple j’s annual countdown! Head over to the Aerial stage where a swag of awesome Aussie bands and DJs will be playing live with the countdown streaming in between sets. It’s the perfect spot for you and your mates to embrace the summer vibes and chill out, have a boogie or enjoy a beer or two.
The Crescent
12pm – 9pm
Let the kids run wild at our Australia Day wonderland with a full day of entertainment from Nickelodeon, food stalls and plenty of kid’s rides and sideshow amusements. Then as the sun sets, join thousands of people to party as the best in Aussie rock and pop hit the main stage, before we ring out Australia Day with a massive fireworks and pyrotechnic spectacular!

CARnivale is back at Australia Day Parramatta in 2017 with more than 600 vintage cars, bikes, trucks and vehicles. This year we're lucky to have 5 race cars that ran on the Parramatta Park race track in the 1950's including an original Ralt, creation of legendary car designer and engineer Ron Tauranac, and Stan Jones’ classic Maybach.
