Medicare review: The 23 items set to be axed and what they mean

Funding cuts to certain procedures covered by Medicare. The government wants to axe funding for low volume procedures and procedures deemed not to be clinically relevant. Arbitrary cuts without proper clinical consultation. My greatest objection is with respect to 'low volume' procedures ie less common - doesn't mean less likely to save lives or give much better outcomes.
