Description
We are a group from multiple schools in Hobart,Tasmania. We have multiple teams that compete regularly in various competitions for RoboCup Junior and FIRST Robotics
Students from ages 8 - 19, who are interested in Robotics. We meet weekly to work on entries for various competitions. These competitions currently include RoboCup Junior and FIRST (FTC and FRC). We are looking for schools and younger students to mentor in this 'real' application of science, engineering and math.

This evening I took the girls I teach at Ogilvie high school to a reception at Government House in Tasmania for a reception focussed on STEM. It was hosted for Robogals UTAS by the Governor General for Tasmania and HER husband. The message was there is no difference between men and women and girls can be leaders in the fields, jobs and careers associated with science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These girls are brilliant and will contribute to all of our futures. They met with many women in all of these fields of study and industry. I am very proud of them.

Some new work. New platform, new programming.
Thank You for all the recent interest and 'likes'. We are working with new students and a new platform. If you are interested, please contact us about times and dates. Our time is limited to one day per week, one location and there are some minimal costs for materials involved. Ages 12-18.
