This is what happens when you use sub-par tradesmen/ contractors to undertake 'cheap' quoted works. Not only have they used interior grade timber for exterior applications, they didn't paint any end grain which is a MUST. They also failed to use stainless steel fixings in close proximity to a marine environment. Needless to say if this was done correctly in the first place, costly repairs wouldn't be needed. The cheapest quotes are cheap for a reason! The original part of this house is going on 100yrs old and in immaculate condition with minimal maintenance. The renovation undertaken 13 yrs ago by a now bankrupt builder is falling apart. Luckily the owners addressed this issue before more damage had occurred to window frames etc which wasn't too far away. Rest assured @thegoldenratio_construction_co uses the highest quality tools, materials and techniques to get the job done correctly EVERYTIME.

Custom aluminum fence installed on top of an existing sandstone wall. The new owners of this corner block in Mosman felt they needed a bit more security. The total perimeter is about 60m. That's a lot of aluminum welds! We sent the panels off for powder coating before installation. Came up a treat!

Excavating the front yard of this property to widen the driveway meant the front corner of the house had to be underpinned as the bottom of the wall was well above the proposed new ground level. We needle propped the brickwork then excavated the old footing out and dug down for a new engineered footing. New brickwork including a retaining wall and some funky tapered tread stairs finished off the new area nicely.

A very warm kitchen/ dining room indeed. (It's not just the filter 😆) Love the 40mm stone with waterfall edge. Complimented by a flush door sill, meeting a tiled deck that overlooks Collaroy/ Narrabeen beach.
