EcoFair 5 was on 2nd May 2015. Will there be an EcoFair 6?
A fun eco-day in a heritage precinct in Mosman Park - everyone invited! A sustainability celebration for the local community and beyond in a beautiful heritage oasis!

Plan a relaxed day wandering around the 70 stalls at the Mosman Park EcoFair to be held in the heritage grounds of St Luke’s Church in Mosman Park on 3rd May between 10am and 4pm.

You will find stalls with products and information about all aspects of eco-friendly living including grey water treatment, recycled jewellery, electric bikes, local organic fruit and veg, fair trade products of all sorts, upcycled clothing, handmade aprons, wooden toys, local native seedlings, recycled artworks, soy-based soaps and more.

- Take a break with an organic coffee served in a china mug washed-up for you by friendly volunteers,

- Refresh yourself with a freshly pressed juice or vegan smoothie.

- Snack on exquisite raw cakes, try the gozleme or some tasty pastries... or an organic sausage to raise money for the Superfins, a disabled swimming group.

- The kids will enjoy the playing with the faeries, making scarecrows, creating unique items from recycled wood, painting or exploring the cardboard castle.

- Listen to the uplifting sounds of the organ, or the Mighty Camelot Choir.

- Enjoy the sweet sounds of the talented local buskers.

- And learn about planting a vegie bed that grows productively or find out more about the link from soil to food.

- And you can’t go past the raffle.  One prize will be reserved for people who visit all our treasure hunt stalls – the others include hampers, a folding bike, organic beef and more

We are again minimising waste.  Last year’s EcoFair produced only 4 bins of waste from 1500 people through the whole day.  Can we beat that this year?

Parking is limited – but we’re near the station and the bus stops – and yes, there will be a place for your bike!

The EcoFair aims to be a fun eco-day in a beautiful heritage precinct.  It is coordinated by a small group of volunteers and while we don’t aim to raise money, any extra funds will be turned into funky bike racks.

EcoFair takes a break for 2016 The organising team is sad to announce that the Mosman Park EcoFair at St Luke’s scheduled for 7th May will not take place. This situation has been caused by a combination of factors including a lack of resources with an inability to secure sufficient funding for necessary equipment. The EcoFair is a much-loved family event in Mosman Park’s calendar and the team did not wish to proceed without being able to guarantee the event’s usual high standards for visitors, volunteers, supporters and stallholders. The team intends that EcoFair 2017 will continue the tradition of an enjoyable eco-day for the community in the beautiful heritage setting of the St Luke’s precinct.
