Bentonite - Metal Casting - Green Sand I have been doing metal casting as a hobby for about 15years using 'Petrobond Sand'. During that time I have tried to find a supplier who would sell small quantities of 'Green Sand' that is water based. Didn't find one so have bought a pallet of sand and a pallet of Bentonite to mix my own. This listing is for one (1) 25 kg Bag of Bentonite Trubond manufactured by SIBELCO Australia "Sibelco's Trubond is a natural sodium Bentonite mined and processd near Miles in Queensland" I can email you a pdf copy of the material safety data sheet (MSDS) if required. I have sent orders to VIC, ACT, NSW, QLD and SA. It works best if you organise the freight from your end. The bags are wrapped individually in plastic as 25kg packages. A large order could be put on a pallet and loaded with a forklift.

Pre Mixed Green Sand (DRY) 22kg

This is the most cost effective way to get the most sand to you via Australia Post within the 22kg limit. This listing is for one (1) 22 kg Bucket of Pre Mixed Green Sand (Dry) The ratio by volume is 10:1 10 parts Foundry Sand (F54) 1 part Trubond Bentonite What's in the bucket that weighs 2kg? * 17kg Dry Pre-Mixed Green Sand (Sand to Bentonite Pre-Mixed Ratio 10:1) * 3kg Bag of Bentonite (You can use to add a small amount to the green sand after each use. Add 420ml / 420gm of water to the dry green sand mix and stir it up. This will be approx 7.5% to 9% moisture content. NOTE: WEAR A DUST MASK WHEN YOU OPEN THE BUCKET AND MIX UP THE SAND.
