Objective ::  The association will promote and foster educational aspect of cultural heritage to support and work with its younger generation, newly arrived individuals & families and also senior members for better understanding of values and beliefs and to live harmoniously in the multicultural environment in Australia.

Sankat Mochan Samiti Inc. is once More delighted to announce a grand initiative of community building in conjunction with the City of Monash – Celebration for the Second Time of Rang Barse (Shower of Colours) - Festival of Colours, on Sunday 19 March 2017 at Monash University Sports Complex from 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM. The Rang Barse event is to bring the communities and individuals with different cultural, religious and national background to come together and enjoy the feeling of companionship and friendship amongst known and unknowns by sharing the fun of sprinkling and dusting the beautiful dry colours on each other signifying that the Mother nature’s scheme of beautiful colours is nondiscriminatory and it creates a blissful complementary combination of pleasure enjoyed by every one.

Sankat Mochan Performing Arts Youth Group has organised two weeks of Spring Camp at SMK with program full of interesting activities for the young ones (5 years to 12 years of age). These activities shall take place on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm starting from Monday 19 September and shall finish on Friday 30 September 2016 . The kids shall enjoy the company of each other and shall be kept busy with Painting, Dancing, Singing, Story telling and writing, Aerobics, and Nutrition based sessions on these days. As in the previous Summer School very good teachers are offering their services to make this happen. The fee for the program is $5.00 per session per child and is payable in advance on the weekly basis. The kids should bring their own Arts Smock and the drinking bottle. The fee shall cover the cost of Milk and fruits which shall be provided in every session to the kids along with the teaching and learning material.
