Our next St. Catherine's Adult Fellowship will be on this Monday the 16th of October at 7pm. Our guest speaker is Dr. Con Petsoglou, a leading eye specialist and a dear friend of our fellowship. The topic is : " The inexhaustible spiritual meaning of the wedding of Canaan". As always the talks are held at the old St Catherine's Church 13 - 15 Tunbridge St Mascot . Hope to see you all there

Our annual St Catherine's Sunday School Family Picnic will be held on this Sunday the 15th of October straight after the Divine Liturgy at the Mascot Memorial Park (opposite the Church on the left side) from 11a.m onwards. There will be lots of fun games for both children and parents! As well, our Parish has organised for an ice cream van to be there to provide free icecream to everyone attending! A wonderful opportunity for families to have a picnic together! Everyone is invited!

Eternal gratitude to Abbot Fr Kyriakos for bringing the Icon to our Parish. It was our privilege to have Fr Peter Mavrommatis from the St. Euphemia parish at Bankstown doing the service and for delivering an inspirational sermon to all tonight. A wonderful event for our Parish! Glory be to God for all things! In memory of the Reception of the Icon of Panagia of Yellow Rock, we are blessed to have our own copy of the Icon as part of the Iconography works currently being done at the narthex of our Church. We are announcing to all that the Paraklisis ( Supplicatory Canon) to the Theotokos will be sung today at 6pm. This is the last opportunity people will have to venerate the Holy Icon of Panagia of Yellow Rock. The Icon will depart the Church after the service. Please bring the names of your loved ones to be read during the service. Parts of the service will be chanted in English.

Night Vigil tonight in honour of the Feast Day of Panagia of Yellow Rock. The service will commence at 7.30pm till 1a.m. We are pleased to announce that His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Miletoupollis will be with us tonight! Members of the Australian Byzantine Choir will be chanting at the Vigil.

Reminding everyone about Sunday's service. Matins & Divine Liturgy from 7a.m till 10.30a.m & then the Litany of the Icon of Panagia of Yellow Rock will follow around the Church. After the service our Parish is organising a Sausage Sizzle to raise funds in aid of the restoration works at the St. George monastery. Hopefully we can all give generously to help our monastery.
