In 2006 Ross and Cheryle Forster, proprietors of newsXpress Maryborough purchased the business on the brink of extinction and certain closer. In 2014 it was awarded the ‘Best Newsagency’ in Victoria.
Our primary goal has always been to provide the people of the region with exceptional customer service at the best price in a warm and inviting environment.
Our staff all work extremely hard to maintain our very high standard and we like our customers to feel special every time they come into the shop, with personal attention. Which is something we feel is sadly lacking in modern day society.
As a business we also specialise in Tattslotto. We have had 32 division 1 winners, which is an amazing achievement for a single outlet and one of the highest in the state.
Other services we offer are newspapers, magazines, gifts, Hallmark greeting cards, cigarettes, books, dry-cleaning, Darrell Lea chocolates and stationery.
We offer our customers with exceptional money saving benefits in the form of discount vouchers, which provide customers with a 10% discount off most lines instore on their next transaction. We also have a ‘Hallmark Rewards Programme’ – Buy 8 cards and get the 9th free. Why would you buy a greeting card anywhere else?
