A local vocational training organisation, Wide Bay Educational Services cares about our youth and their future. Wide Bay Educational Services (WBES) RTO.41374 was established as a business in January 2015 and registered as a training organisation on 23rd December 2015. With office locations in both Maryborough and Hervey Bay, WBES has been established to provide the youth of the district with vocational training to assist their transition into the workforce. Consultation with local employment, education and training providers and disability service providers has identified a critical need within the community in the areas of;
* Foundation skills
* Agricultural training
* Business, Tourism and Hospitality linked to retail
* Health Support Service training; and
* Meaningful vocational training experience for those in our community with a disability.
WBES has established partnership's with;
* Riverside Christian College; utilising the school 160 acre farm for vocational training. Truly a remarkable local resource that has to be seen to be believed. This partnership provides a pathway for youth into an expansive local Agricultural / Rural industry sector;
* University of Queensland - Gatton Vocational Education Centre; this partnership provides local youth with training and pathways into the Rural Operations qualifications and into the Universities Diploma in Agriculture;
* Sarina Russo Institute/Sarina Russo Job Access/Sarina Russo Global Initiative Ltd; this partnership provides local youth with a 'one-stop-shop'. Clients engaged with Sarina Russo Access, can access a number employment, education and training services, without having to engage a number of different agencies.

* Strategic Deployment Services, specialising in Health and Civil construction industry training, SDS is a respected local vocational training provider with a reputation for quality. This partnership provides youth with the training experience required to enter the Health administration sector.
