Sydney's much loved seafood restaurant, is located just off Manly beach in a landmark site that locals have long admired.
The Herring Room is family owned & run by veterans of the industry.
It's set in 1920’s inspired space with good old fashioned hospitality. It's bistro styled meals are delivered confidently, inspired by flavours from all around the world.
The Herring Room is the sister restaurant to the recently closed & hugely successful, long running Potts Point restaurant The Sardine Room.

Cocktail Bar Person – Experienced Industry Professional The Herring Room is looking for an experienced Cocktail Bar person. The ideal candidate will be fun & professional, have exceptional attention to detail, great product knowledge and a passion for classic and contemporary cocktails. You will have 4 years experience in cocktail bars and mixology. Open 7 evenings and weekend lunches, this role requires you to be available 20 to 30 hours per week, especially from Thursday to Sundays. Great hourly rate plus tips. Fully licensed, we offer a great selection of wine and cocktails. The Herring Room is looking for individuals to join our front of house team working on the floor and occasionally on the bar. The ideal candidate will have passion for hospitality, be fun & professional while offering exceptional service. 2 years experience in a similar role is essential. Bar experience is preferred. Open 7 evenings and weekend lunches, this role requires you to be available 20 to 30 hours per week, especially from Thursday to Sundays.
