What a relief that climate change doesn't really exist

Uniting Earthweb alerted us to this interesting article in the Canberra Times written by Ross Gittens. Whatever our politics, we need our politicians to take action now against Climate Change, if it is not too late already. God gave us stewardship of the earth, not the right to lay it to waste. We know the steps we can take individually but now it is nations who must act. Let your politicians know you want ut now it is nations who must act. Let your politicians know you want a world fit for your grandchildren and their children to live in. http://www.canberratimes.com.au/comment/what-a-relief-that-climate-change-doesnt-really-exist-20170214-gucb48.html

To The Person 'Inconvenienced' By Our Funeral Procession

As someone who often drives a minister to the graveside, I have witnessed the behaviour described in this article - people unable to wait a few seconds or minutes and must get ahead. But then a lot of folk in the funeral procession don't really understand the etiquette either. In these days of cars with lights on day and night, we've taken to using our hazard lights to alert others to the reason for the steady pace. We are all bound together by many things but grief is a universal given - could we not show a little respect, if not for the one who has lost their life, but for those who have lost the one they love. Could we not extend this little courtesy on what may be the worst day of someone's life?

It can be easy to be swayed by the something we read on the web or see on the news or hear on the radio. This is a simple but effective guide to considering issues in a deeper, more critical fashion.
