Along time ago I went to an Pilates Guild conference held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in LA. Levis staid there!!!! Many of the old movies have been filmed there!!! 😃Kathy Ross Nash was a new and upcoming teacher, Brooke Siler was a newish teacher with an amazing studio and therefore gave a talk on Business and Pilates, Romana gave a mat class to us all. There was not enough room for us in the one grand ballroom so we spilled out into the corridor and then into the next room. Mari Windsor was on the phone VERY LOUDLY organising a work out for Angelica Houston one day. It was all very Hollywood. And then there was Juanita Lopez, skilfully and calmly teaching us what she had learned over the many years of her training. She was so good I could have learned from her all conference. I remember suggesting Juanita come out to Australia and teach us for continuing ed one year. It did happen and I have the photo to show. She is soft and firm and strong and a true Joseph Pilates / Romana Pilates inspiration. Thanks for finding this Katie Agnew. 😘
