An urgent Christmas wish.

The festive season with all its celebrations and feasts can be very triggering and one of the most difficult times of the year for those experiencing eating disorders. Approximately one million Australians will be going through this during the coming weeks. That’s one in 27 people. And yet they have about as much chance of winning the lottery as they do of getting the right care for an eating disorder. Butterfly knows that with effective education, specialised treatment and ongoing support, eating disorders can be overcome. For many, we are the only place they can turn this Christmas. We’ve made it simple for you to help those living with an eating disorder, and their loved-ones this Christmas and New Year. Will you help us?
