FINAL DAYS to see the current exhibitions: Colours of Country the third Alice Springs Beanie Festival and check out the talented Cowra Art Group Ladies' baskets of beanies for sale. Worth a look: Collection in Focus: New Acquisitons (installation view shown) includes L-R Jenny Sages, Idris Murphy, Susan O'Doherty, Peter O'Doherty, Tania Mason, Yvonne Boag, Susan Baird, Joanna Logue, Jo Bertini and internationally renowned local ceramic artist Greg Daly and artist's book by Sally McInerney which includes photographs by her mother renowned photographer Olive Cotton. Current exhibitions end this Sunday 30th April. Gallery hours: Tues to Saturday 10am - 4pm, Sunday 2-4pm.

EXHIBITION OPENING: Saturday 1 April at 6pm: A special opening for Colours of the Country III – Alice Springs Beanie Festival will take place at the Cowra Regional Art Gallery. Guest speaker is Merran Hughes, Artistic Director, Alice Springs Beanie Festival. This exhibition will inspire audiences to laugh, don crazy head wear and bring out those knitting needles all over again. Colours of the Country III is a “must-see” exhibition and continues to 30 April 2017. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 4pm, Sunday 2pm – 4pm (closed Good Friday). Admission free.
