I spent a delightful and educational morning at Moreland Community Gardening learning more about local food production. More community gardens are popping up and everyone there was so friendly and welcoming, I heartily recommend it!

Managed to get into the garden today. After a bumper winter crop of oranges there are still some on the tree. Lemons are coming in nicely and the other fruit trees are starting to blossom. I'll have to start making lemon tea cake and lemon slice! Bella thinks we've got some plum trees so plum tart & clafoutis might be on the menu this spring. Plenty to look forward to as the weather turns!
