Description
Multi Award winning hot air balloon rides company The company was established in 1986 and has been conducting daily balloon flights over Canberra for 30 years. Passengers meet at the Hyatt Hotel at sunrise, transported to the launch site selected for the day where the passengers are encouraged to assist in setting up the balloons. We aim to fly for 45 - 60 mins enjoying all the vistas that Canberra offers. The attractions include the lakes, parks and the many significant Canberra buildings such as Parliament House, the National Gallery of Australia and the National Library. The balloons will land gently in one of the many parks and reserves around Canberra and following a packup all our passengers enjoy a champagne celebration at the Hyatt Hotel. A buffet breakfast is available at the Hyatt as an optional extra.
Balloon Aloft Canberra initiated the Canberra Balloon Festival in 1986 and has participated in the event every year since then.
