Sunday June 11th Gunns Plains Outings (in our bus). This is going to be an outing of smnaller walks, and just about anyone can do this. Barry has suggested he may have a surprise for us!! For bus times etc ring Geoff Wickham on 64421253 Hope to see you there!

Burnie Field Nats Social Club outing May 18th 12.30pm to Bruce's Cafe, Old Bass Highway Wynyard. This luncheon gives all members a chance to catch up, and also enjoy a nice meal. Please give Barbara Evans a call on 64423436 for bookings.

May 14th (Mothers Day) Outing to Winterbrook Falls area. Wonderful walk through mixed forest (via boardwalk) old rainforest, and Autumn fungi. King Billy Pines, & historic remains of sawmill, tramway, & snig trails. Bring your Fungi Flip, & Tree flip. Sturdy footwear, rain gear, and lunch. Thursday April 27th 12.30pm at the Seabrook Hotel Somerset it our monthly Burnie Field Nats social club luncheon. A chance for all to meet up. Please give Barbara Evans a call on 64423436 to book a spot. Everyone is encouraged to join us.. Lunch is usually around $14 mark, so very good value.

Sunday April 23rd Tarkine outing to Julius River Forest Circuit and the Balfour Track. Both these destinations contain a mixture of old Eucalypt & Rainforest types & a good selection of Fungi. Bus details 9am at Burnie Penguins/Somerset 9,10am/Wynyard Bus dpo 9.20am. Other pickups please call Geoff 64421253. We are using our 21 seat bus for this outing.
