Postcard from India After a rewarding experience working with the students of St Columba's School in New Dehli and some sightseeing at the Taj Mahal and Red Fort, our Indian Immersion Group have now started the final phase of their journey in Paonta Sahib. Upon arriving at Sambhota Paonta School, the ASC group was warmly welcomed by many students and staff who were eagerly waiting to meet their Australian guests at the front gate. The next morning they were formally introduced at an Assembly and presented with ceremonial stoles to wear around their necks. From here, the ASC students moved off to class with their hosts and by lunchtime, they had already made new friends and seemed at home in this new environment - making the most of every opportunity to connect, share and grow. The group is looking forward to what this new week will bring, the friends they will make and the memories that will be created.

Namaste from India! Our ASC Indian Immersion Group has spent the past three days working with the students from Nine is Mine of St Columba's School in New Delhi. Within minutes of the school day beginning yesterday, there was a wonderful hum of productivity in the air. Their third session together ran very smoothly, with our ASC students working with the 'Nine is Mine' children on their English language skills. They also spent time rehearsing for the big end of week performance, which will include a special dance piece and fashion show. After school was finished for the day, the ASC group was guided to a local Hindu temple by some of the students from 'Nine is Mine' where they enjoyed some cross-cultural learning. The College is extremely proud of our ASC students for demonstrating such a high level of care and attention when teaching the 'Nine is Mine' children. We hope the experience so far has been valuable and rewarding for both communities.
