Hey guys this coming Saturday I'm teaming up with a few other Bootcamp groups to do a session at Aspley Rugby League club. It's going to be $15 per person to attend and all money will go towards Movemeber. More info on the event page, everyone is welcome and feel free to invite friends! Another tough morning Bootcamp ticked off for these great girls! The 40 minute session consisted of the following: - Strength based circuit - HIIT cardio (suicides/ shuttle runs) - AMRAP mini workout X 2 mins - Group jog Don't hesitate to send me an email or a message if you're interested in trying one of the sessions. *Proper push-up technique*: A common error I see with a lot of push ups is illustrated in the below photos: Top photo- You can notice the elbows are high, and in line with the shoulder- placing a lot of strain and potentiality damaging the shoulder joint in the long run. This is also a weaker position for the shoulder to be In. Below photo- My elbows track lower underneath my shoulders. This not only places the shoulder joint under less strain, but also engages our Pectoralis Major (chest muscle ) to help throughout the movement and putting the shoulder into a stronger position.
