A celebration of the communities and environment of Salisbury and surrounding areas, through the arts and culture. Chrome Street Fiesta Inc Objectives are:
1. To develop connections and relationships across the Salisbury community and build a sense of community identity and pride.
2. To plan and deliver collaborative local community events for in Salisbury and surrounding suburbs for the local community
3. To support and collaborate with other not-for-profit associations with complimentary objectives.
4. To nurture and show case the artistic talents of the local and surrounding community.
5. To support, recognise and share the unique history of the local and surrounding areas.
6. To support and promote responsible, sustainable, environmental practices.

We are stoked to present to the world Kurilpa Reach, appearing at this Saturday's Fiesta!!! Developing from a shed in Moorooka, Kurilpa Reach are on their way to mash the yard at Chrome St Fiesta bringing their psychedelic mix of roots, reggae and funk. With a thumping drum, bass beats, and skanking rhythms, all tied together by sweet melodies of saxophone and guitars, Kurilpa Reach will be sure to get your body moving. Just before 7pm at Chrome Street Fiesta!!!

Presenting Dance Pointe showcasing a few of their 2016 dances at this Saturday's Chrome St Fiesta, including the young Seina placed 2nd with her ballet solo at Beenleigh Eisteddfod last year and two End of the Year Concert dances: Dance of the Hours and The Hip Hop Mix. To draw or to be drawn, that is the question! If you've ever wondered what it would be like to model for a drawing class, or to join in on the drawing, here is your chance at this Year's Fiesta. See if you can hold a pose for five minutes (it's harder than you would think). Use a prop or costume and channel your inner actor. See how you are portrayed by all the different artists. If you like it you can buy it too. It's free and open to one and all. This coming Saturday at Chrome St Fiesta.
