Unfortunately we were too busy to get across to Sunrise this morning, but we were able to schmooze with the celebs as they checked in!

When you’re here in Bowen you really must try the seafood. Fresh off the ocean on to your plate. The nicest prawns you will ever taste. Or you might like to throw a line off the jetty and wait for dinner to come to you? Either way Arabon Seafoods has you covered, just a short distance up the road. Yum!!!

Mango update: Publicity Stunt!!!

Who doesn’t like mangos? Bowen has not one, but two Big Mangos. These aren’t edible. One went missing a couple of years ago... It actually made worldwide news. Why anyone would steal a non edible Big mango remains a mystery. When it finally returned it had found a mate. The second Big Mango is at front beach, visible from the front rooms of our motel. Real mangos are in season here in Bowen late November. #mangogate #bigthingsofaustralia #shitsonthebigbanana
