Personal Stylist and Fashion Blogger I have always had a love of fashion and great style. It was a passion instilled in me from a very young age by my stylish mum who loved to shop, loved fashion and was an incredible dress maker. She made me beautiful dresses for my school formals and an enviable collection of tailored shirts and suits for my first office job.
I have carried this love and fascination with fashion through my life and I like nothing better than to find interesting pieces and style them in different and unique ways.
Over the years, whilst I have worked in different jobs and careers I have always had a yearning to follow my passion and work in the fashion industry. As they say find a job that you love and you will never work another day in your life.
I have always enjoyed organising and styling my own wardrobe and often had friends ask me for help with shopping or putting together outfits... and so an idea started to grow that personal styling could be my next career. For me this was a perfect combination of my love of style and all things beautiful, my organisational and business skills and a genuine desire to help people fulfil their style potential. Personal style is about so much more than fashion and the latest trends... it is about confidence and knowing what works for your personality and body shape. When we look good our self esteem grows and good things follow.
And so I took the plunge and enrolled in a Certificate in Professional Styling with the Australian Style Institute. This industry recognised qualification in styling is founded on the principles of human behaviour which will enable me as a Professional Stylist to really understand the needs of my clients so that I can tailor bespoke solutions for their lifestyle and styling needs.
If you would like some help with getting your wardrobe more organised, updating your style, finding a special event outfit or even just finding a few key pieces to complement what you already have I would love to talk to you.

Here is my beautiful client Ruth in a selection of the pieces we found for her yesterday. Ruth has recently started her first post uni job and was looking to update her wardrobe with some key pieces that will mix and match and extend her existing wardrobe. Ruth also wanted to try pieces out of her normal comfort zone. Part of the brief was a fun and stylish party outfit. We picked out this gorgeous on trend playsuit @fshnbnkr which goes perfectly with the new nude heels from @jomercershoes we selected. We also got her a denim jacket and white jeans from @portmans_ . These are both great everyday staples which Ruth can wear for work and play and will mix back with existing pieces in her wardrobe. The denim jacket also looks fabulous with the playsuit for cooler days. Ruth was also looking for a pair of flat and comfortable shoes. We funked it up a bit with these cute lace ups from @jomercershoes. With 50% off the second pair we saved money on the purchase of the two shoes, which are both versatile options that will work back with lots of different pieces in Ruth's wardrobe.
