Taken on Black Charlie's Hill in 1930-- now Simmat Avenue near the local shops. This part of Condell Park was named after 'Black Charlie', whose real name may have been Charles Luzon or Charlie Lopez. "Every year without fail, there'd be a Christmas streak! The fellers would get together around the back, put some money in the hat, and whoever was game enough, would take it all off and do a lap of the track! The money in the hat would be the reward. Now, nobody would say too loud a word about this, so that word of our mischief wouldn't get around the club. But, my word, before you knew it, you couldn't get within a few metres of the back window with the amount of women that were looking out onto the track". #CCPFamily
